WOKE follows a San Francisco-based cartoonist on the cusp of mainstream success when his mild, inoffensive comic strip takes on a decidedly provocative tone after a run-in with the cops. Keef Knight finds himself in a perpetually “woke” state as he navigates his day-to-day life, trying not to blow up everything he’s built while animated objects invade his reality.
