Trivia
- Katie Parker is playing Rose‘s sister in this movie. Here is what she said about working with Rose and creating that relationship with each other. “Rose McIver is one of my dear friends, and we used to live together. So, we have that dynamic of her being the big sister, as well. It was pretty seamless, I think we were both a little nervous to work together, because we’ve only known each other as friends; never as actors together. We just looked each other in the eye and trusted that it was there. And Mali kept saying it was there, but Rose and I both talked about how it was uncomfortable. We didn’t quite feel connected, but there was something about it that landed in the scene and worked. It’s one of those things as an actor; you have to remind yourself that you’re enough. Even if it’s not translating for you, and you’re not feeling everything, your director is gonna let you know if it’s reading or not.”
- In this project, Rose had the opportunity to work with some of her dearest friends: Katie Parker and Mali Elfman (who worked with Rose in ‘Nice Ride‘) but also Karen Gillan. It was also kind of a little ‘iZombie‘ reunion as Tongayi Chirisa and Rahul Kohli are also a part of this project (even if they didn’t had a full day on set together).

“She came with me to a convention in Hawaii one weekend, and I said, ‘You’re coming with me and you are finishing writing that.’ She’d been talking about it for a long time, and I’m so inspired by her.” Rose about Mali writing the script of this movie.
