Today, I share with you a New Zealand organization that we support, and that you can also support through our project “Rose McIver Source: A Fundraiser to Give Hope“.
HELP is an organization that means a lot to Rose McIver and her family. In fact, in 2021, Rose’s brother Paul McIver, created a fundraising page for ‘HELP AUCKLAND‘ and among other fans, we participated in his fundraiser for Rose’s birthday. (see related post).
Since 1982, HELP has been a specialist provider of sexual abuse support services for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (website | facebook | instagram).
They provide free specialist services to survivors of sexual abuse (of all ages), as well as their families. They also facilitate community prevention education programmes like We Can Keep Safe, which is a personal safety workshop series for preschoolers and their parents, and Dear Em, which is a platform for young people to speak out and learn about important issues.
Thank you for taking the time to read this to inform you and, do not forget to participate in our special project to support HELP AUCKLAND.
