Last week (May 7, 2020) Rose joined Claire for her Instagram Show called ‘Chit Chats‘.
Here’s a small summary of what Rose said during this live show.
- #Woke is probably coming out in July on Hulu.
- She loves ‘The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle’ from Haruki Murakami.
- #Daffodils “It was easily one of precious work experience in my life. I loved loved making that film, loved the people to work with.”
- “iZombie was such a dream show.”
- She was just about to shoot the pilot for ‘Ghosts’, they had a table read the day the national emergency was declared so, that’s been put on hold. Nobody knows what’s happening for the future.
- “It’s so oppressing but at the some time, on my personal experience, it’s insanely privilege, I have a home, I have a garden I can do things in. I am not alone. There is definitely days I’ve been depressed but overall, I’m like trying to focus on things I’m grateful for. My experience is not not too bad at all.”
- When Rose sees how things have been incredibly well handled on in #NewZealand, for her its been very inspiring to be a kiwi out here, she’s so proud of where she is from.
- Rose and her brother were supposed to run a marathon this week but has been cancelled. Running is a crucial part of her mental health.
What’s in Rose’s Bowl?! I had the divine pleasure of chatting to this talented lady while she baked Lemon Ricotta muffins and I baked nothing but asked lots of questions. We discussed everything from her intricate garden, not-running marathons, how she manages her mental health, her inability to multi-task, EMDR (see below), what she’s been watching & reading, our shared fan-girling of Danielle Cormack and some highlights of her career – from leaving IZombie to Daffodils to what she’s up to now.
Grab a cuppa and come hang out with this delightful, astute, wise soul
